Akobo Child Care began in 2010 as a small, home-based initiative in the quiet community of Akobo, Ibadan. Founded by a passionate caregiver and mother, the goal was simple: to create a safe, loving space where children could grow, learn, and thrive.
As demand increased, Akobo Child Care evolved from a one-person effort into a team-led service with trained staff and structured programs. By 2016, the center had expanded its offerings to include toddler education, after-school care, and weekend babysitting.
In 2019, Akobo Child Care opened a second center in Lagos, Nigeria’s bustling economic hub. This move responded to numerous requests from parents who had relocated from Ibadan and still wanted the same level of care for their children.
Today, Akobo Child Care is stronger than ever with physical centers, virtual support, and a growing team committed to excellence in childcare. As we continue to evolve, our mission remains the same: to be a trusted partner in your child’s journey.
